Harristown State High School (HSHS) in partnership with South Queensland Institute of TAFE and local businesses, are establishing a course of study for up to 28 students to undertake an accelerated progression to achieve a trade qualification in Construction and Engineering (apprenticeship). Students will have the opportunity to complete two years of an apprenticeship while enrolled at the school. Extensive industry experience and a flexible academic program at school are features of this program. Core subjects in the junior school will have a focus on preparation for participation in the field. |
